Success Stories

No Chance for Success!
How the Campaign that ‘Couldn’t’ . . . Did – in a BIG Way.

Kent Cornerstone Award

Kent Stroman receives the "Cornerstone Award" from the
Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church of Tulsa.

The campaign for the Greater Cornerstone Community Development Project (GCCDP)began with no reasonable chance for success – but eventually succeeded beyond anyone’s wildest imagination!  GCCDP was little more than a dream when its tax exempt status was granted in 2005.  Willard Jones is the visionary / founder / CEO of this organization and  Kent is the primary consultant who worked together with him to achieve a truly remarkable outcome.

Willard Jones is a man on a mission, driven each day with a desire to help others realize their potential. He has demonstrated his passion to serve others as a business executive, minister, educator, and executive director. One of his core beliefs is that, as citizens of a community, people must be proactive rather than always being reactive. Willard's life is focused on addressing the educational, social and medical concerns of those in need.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the $7MM GCCDP's community center was celebrated on February 28th, 2011. Foundations, Churches and individuals have helped make this dream a reality. The 20,000 square foot facility will be located across the street from the Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. The center will provide office space for Family and Children's Services, Domestic Violence and Intervention Services, Goodwill, Campfire Boys and Girls and the Associated Centers for Therapy. A variety of services will be offered including family and youth counseling, job skill training, food and clothing distribution, mental health assistance and after-school programs.
